The Organization
In 2001, NSSC began as a co-ed recreational volleyball league with a focus on fun. It has developed into one of Nanaimo's best sport and social experiences for people over the age of 18. With hundreds of participants, we have evolved into a multi-sport organization that accommodates all levels of competition from beginner to advanced. We welcome all types of players including singles and whole teams.

Jason and Melissa Kristiansen have lived in Nanaimo for 9 years. During this time, we've spread our enthusiasm for active living, community recreation and staying healthy to hundreds of other residents in Nanaimo. We genuinely enjoy creating opportunities for people to play together; it's what makes a great community!

Troy Gaudon is a long time athlete with a degree in Sports Management. He has brought enthusiasm and expertise to our organization. With Troy's help, NSC hosts the ANNUAL PARKSVILLE BEACH SOCCER CHAMPIONSHPS and ANNUAL TOFINO SURF TRIP, where participants are in good hands with Troy as the surf instructor.

To support local, non-profit community organizations that make a positive impact on our community by raising money through tournaments and social events; all while helping people get active, social and stay healthy and happy.
